If you were expecting a new Dr. Mario game to release for the Nintendo Switch anytime soon, you might just have to give up on your hopes and dreams, because Dr. Mario World is a brand new game coming to mobile devices instead.

Dr. Mario World appears to be your standard freemium title for phones, meaning it’s a free game to download but comes with the option of multiple in-app purchases. The game is set to release on July 10 for both Android and iOS devices.

As far as gameplay is concerned Dr Mario World is both similar and different to the previous titles of the series. Players will need to match the color pill with the matching virus until the area is cleared. However, this time around rather than starting from the top and having the pill float down in a style similar to Tetris, the pills will actually float upwards instead, giving a small but unique twist on this classic gameplay.

This time around Mario isn’t the only doctor helping you cure illness, as Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, and even Bowser all seemed to have gone to medical school recently, each bringing their own unique abilities to the table to assist you with eliminating viruses.
