Attack on Titan: The Final Season was a massive hit. It’s a cultural phenomenon like no other, anime or otherwise. This week, on June 23, the Attack on Titan: The Final Season OST is being released. While some criticized some of the musical choices in certain scenes, feeling that the themes didn’t fit with what was established during “past seasons”, we felt the music was more than appropriate, and in many cases spectacular. The OST will contain music composed by legendary Japanese composer Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamota, who worked on the season jointly.

The first part of The Final Season of Attack on Titan ended with a massive cliffhanger with episode 16. Marley is full-on invading Paradis Island and Reiner is about to have his climactic face-off with Eren, finally. The music is sure to be thrilling and even more epic than the first half of the season, especially with what is yet to come for the rest of the series. Attack on Titan is one of the greatest stories ever told with some of the best music in anime history. It will not disappoint. Those who are unfamiliar with the manga material are in for a real treat, although the ending will prove to be divisive, as every great series has a divisive ending. You cannot please everyone.

The second part of Attack on Titan’s Final Season begins airing in early 2022.
