The release date for the upcoming Switch game, Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection, has just been announced. After being announced during a Nintendo Direct, Ubisoft was slow to unveil when the game would officially launch. Today, however, an official post from the company’s website confirmed that it would be available on December 6 for the Nintendo Switch. The company showed off some of the most memorable moments from these titles, including meeting Blackbeard the Pirate.

Rebel Collection

The upcoming, Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection, features the following content:

  • Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
  • Assassin’s Creed Rogue
  • All DLC for both releases

This double pack includes a few enhancements for the Nintendo Switch. According to the game’s listing on the Nintendo eShop, Handheld Mode, HD Rumble, Touch Screen Interface, and Motion Control Aiming are all set to make an appearance. This is similar to the previously released, Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered. That title featured both Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered, Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation HD, and the DLC pack, The Tyranny of King Washington.

Rebel Collection

Ubisoft has been a strong supporter of the Nintendo Switch. With the exclusive, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, as well as the inclusion of Star Fox in Starlink: Battle for Atlasthe publisher has shown little signs of slowing down. With the release of their flagship series, Assassin’s Creed, on the system, there’s no telling what other titles may be in the pipeline for future releases.
