Day-One initial shipments for Switch games have been revealed for France, and some games (and accessories) may be harder to find than others. Granted, France is a relatively small market compared to Japan or the United States, but it may be a microcosm of what is yet to come. If this is correct, those Skyward Sword Joy-Cons may be difficult to find! Skyward Sword HD is shipping the most units, at 350,000, followed by Miitopia, at 120,000. Super Mario Golf: Super Rush is shipping 90,000 units, followed by DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power at 30,000 copies, the physical edition of Hades at 25,000, and No More Heroes III at 20,000. Listed as well are the Joy-Cons for Skyward Sword HD, which are only shipping 15,000 units, and although this is only an initial shipment, considering the demand, that is a very low number. Nintendo needs to do better, especially with so many scalpers on the loose. The physical copy of No More Heroes III may also be difficult to find in France, though it may not be in very high demand there.

15,000 Legend of Zelda Joy-Con
350,000 The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
90,000 Mario Golf: Super Rush
120,000 Miitopia
25,000 Hades
20,000 No More Heroes 3
30,000 DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power

Though these are only shipments for Switch games in France, it gives us an idea of how shipments will go around the rest of the globe. The lesson for this? Preorder. Preorder Preorder Preorder.
