It has just been revealed that Thor 4 is set to include the Guardians of the Galaxy. This news came to light during a recent interview from Vin Diesel, who also voices Groot. While promoting his upcoming film, Bloodshot, the Fast and Furious actor let the details slip. Diesel stated, “I am waiting and excited for my friend James Gunn to knock this next one out of the park…He took The Suicide Squad so he’s about to embark on it. Thor will also, the director talked to me about Thor will incorporate some of the Guardians of the Galaxy…That’ll be very interesting, nobody knows, maybe I shouldn’t have said anything.”
The news comes as a bit of a surprise as many assumed that Thor would appear in the upcoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, rather than his own film. It seems likely that this change comes as a result of the Guardians’ next installment being pushed back due to director, James Gunn’s, involvement with Suicide Squad 2. Both Marvel favorites were last seen together at the end of Avengers: Endgame setting off in the Benatar.
Marvel’s thrilling cinematic universe looks to regain its hook on Hollywood with the release of its latest film, Black Widow. Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff as she comes face-to-face with the villain, Taskmaster. Black Widow hits theatres everywhere on April 24.
