Japan has released a brand new commercial for Kirby Star Allies, with all their Japanese charm, and it looks to be shaping up as one of the best multiplayer games for the Nintendo Switch. It also briefly showed King Dedede, one of Kirby’s nemesis. Of course, the commercial has come Japanese charm to it and is a bit whacky, but the gameplay it shows off is fantastic. The music stands out the most! The article was posted on Nintendo’s Japanese YouTube channel.

Kirby Star Allies looks like it may be the best multiplayer game on the Switch yet. It has all the makings of a fantastic game. It actually reminds me of the multiplayer aspect of New Super Mario Bros. for Wii. You could purposely mess up your partners, which was really funny. So it becomes both a cooperative game, but also a competitive one at the same time, which is a fascinating aspect of the design, if Kirby  takes this route.

Kirby Star Allies releases for the Nintendo Switch on March 18, and we can’t wait. It promises to be one of the best platforming games for the Switch, as well as having a magnificent multiplayer aspect to it. All we can hope is that it lives up to these expectations, which we think it will.
