While many have predicted and speculated about a Pokemon Switch coming out in 2018, PlayerEssence, in his latest video, uncovers some new information which could point to the title coming out this year.

The information comes from pixelpar, and he had this to say on the matter.

“Looks like the initial European translations for Pokemon Switch are planned to be completed between April – June. They will the undergo localisation editing. Editors are being hired on a minimum 6 Month contract.”

If this is true, then it is very feasible that the Nintendo Switch versions of Pokemon will come out this year. If the game comes out this year, the Nintendo Switch will become near impossible to find, as Pokemon is one of the best-selling series’ in the world. Once a release date is announced, those who still cling to their 3DS’ will buy a Nintendo Switch. It’s really just a matter of when the games are announced and released, which very well could be this fall, in tradition of past Pokemon titles.

PlayerEssence also tackles two additional topics in the latest installment of his series NewsEssence; the Metroid Prime 4 and Bandai Namco rumor, and, whether power matters in this generation of gaming. Be sure to check his video out, and subscribe to his channel as well for some excellent gaming content.
