Publisher Aksys Games has announced today in a press release the that the next installment in the storied 2D-fighter game series, BlazBlueBlazBlue: Central Fiction, will release both physically and digitally on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems in the winter of 2016 in North America. One of the premiere 2D next-gen fighting games, it is filled with massive amounts of content. BlazBlue: Central Fiction is not just your standard 2D fighter but is innovative and contains a brand new story, characters, modes, and mechanics compared to its predecessor in its post-apocalyptic setting. Containing incredibly detailed 2D hand-drawn sprites rendered in 3D backgrounds, it contains an incredibly enticing world and visuals. There are over 33 fighters to choose from and is marketed as the ultimate 2D fighting experience.
