Many think that the Nintendo 3DS is dead, but it is still raking up decent digital sales through its Nintendo eShop. The sales dated November 6 are quite impressive, showing that the system is far from dead. The list contains six Pokemon games, five Zelda games, including the classic Ocarina of Time, and six Mario/Luigi-themed games. For a system that’s supposedly, that’s not too bad. Tomodachi Life finished at an astounding number two, which is the largest surprise on the list. Here are the 3DS eShop sales For November 6.

1. Pokemon Crystal
2. Tomodachi Life
3. Pokemon Yellow
4. Animal
5. Pokemon Gold
6. Super Mario Bros. 3
7. Luigi’s Mansion
8. Pokemon Silver
9. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon
10. Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
11. Pokemon Red
12. Zelda: Oracle of Ages
13. Super Mario World
14. Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D
15. Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX
16. Super Mario Maker for 3DS
17. Super Mario 3D Land
18. SteamWorld Dig
19. Pokemon Blue
20. Pokemon Dream Radar

This is more proof that the Nintendo 3DS will continue to live on, despite the success of the Nintendo Switch. It’s not a direct competitor to the system (I play my Switch primarily docked on my television.) There is such an abundance of games for the Nintendo 3DS, it would be foolish for Nintendo to pull the plug on the system now. It will be interesting to see how the 3DS sales pan out during the holiday season, and at that, the hardware sales!
