The latest manga volume of My Hero Academia has revealed the season three premiere date for Bones’ hit anime series. Much to the pleasure of eager fans like myself, the season three will premiere on April 7. Considering that’s roughly two months away, it’s not too much of a wait to watch the best anime currently on Japanese television. The series will continue to be produced by Bones, the minds behind classics such as Fullmetal AlchemistEureka SevenRahXephon, and the vastly underrated but masterpiece Blast of Tempest.

My Hero Academia Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed

The exact same staff will remain intact with Kenji Nagasaki directing, Yousuke Kuroda handling scriptwriting duties, Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima designing the characters, and Yuuki Hiashi composing the music. The newest season is going to cover the forest school trip arc, which we were briefly introduced to at the end of season two. Season three will simulcast on Funimation and presumably Crunchyroll, as they streamed seasons one and two as well.

It is not yet known how many episodes the season will run for, but hopefully it will run for at least 25 episodes and cover multiple story arcs like season two did, unlike season one of My Hero Academia which only ran for 13 episodes.

With the video game My Hero Academia: One’s Justice coming out sometime in 2018, fans of the series have plenty to look forward to. Once again, the My Hero Academia Season three premiere date is April 7.
