Aniplex of America has announced via a press release that Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] THE MOVIE II. lost butterfly will premiere at the Regal Cinema in downtown Los Angeles at LA Live on February 23, 2019, in North America. We previously attended a screening for the first film and it was impeccable. The second film will only be that much better. There will be two screenings on the 23rd; one at 11am PST and the other at 2:30pm PST. It’s sure to be an incredibly joyous occasion, with not only the film screening but giveaways and a special guest. Tickets go on sale on January 25. If you can’t attend the premiere, Fathom has you covered and will be releasing the film nationwide on March 14.

“Aniplex of America is proud to present the North America premiere of Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] THE MOVIE II. lost butterfly on Saturday February 23, 2019 at the Regal L.A. LIVE located in downtown Los Angeles. Fans will have two chances to catch the film with an 11 AM (PST) and 2:30 PM (PST) screening, which will include a special giveaway and a yet to be announced special guest. Ticket sales for the Los Angeles premiere will begin January 17 at 11 AM (PST), followed by a nationwide release on March 14 distributed by Fathom Events. Tickets for the nationwide release will go on sale January 25 – details on where to purchase coming soon.”

As Fate/stay night is one of my favorite anime series, and Heaven’s Feel by extension is the best iteration of the franchise in anime form, I’m ecstatic for this second installment. The film promises to be even better than the first, given the source material.
