Nintendo released their sales data through September 30, right before October, and have revealed that through September 30 they have sold 7.63 million units of the Switch worldwide. This is almost double as many Nintendo Wii consoles which were sold during its tumultuous lifetime. 1.95 units were sold in Japan, 3.11 million in the Americas, with the rest of the 2.56 units scattered across different regions.

Here is how the Switch compares to other Nintendo consoles and handhelds alike.
