A new trademark for the Nintendo DS Zelda title Phantom Hourglass has been spotted in Australia. This comes way from a Twitter user named @Okami13_. This further fuels speculation that Nintendo is doing something special for Zelda’s 35th Anniversary on the Nintendo Switch this year. Phantom Hourglass would be an odd choice to include, given its touch-only controls and poor reception in general as a Zelda game. Nevertheless, don’t underestimate Nintendo. They constantly surprise. According to @Okami13_, this points to a Nintendo Switch Zelda Remaster Collection. We’re not willing to go that far, yet. It is interesting timing though and with all the rumors of a remaster of Ocarina of Time coming out, this is yet another rumor to add to the list, as well as a Skyward Sword HD remaster.

No one knows what Nintendo is going to do to celebrate Zelda’s 35th anniversary, but an HD collection seems likely, especially given the treatment Super Mario Bros. received for its 35th anniversary last year. Rumors of a Zelda HD Collection have been swirling around on the internet for years, but this year, it may be a reality. If Nintendo does come out with a Zelda remaster collection, what games would you like to see come to the Nintendo Switch?
