Limited Run Games is best known for creating physical releases of select digital only games. There have been many notable titles such as Firewatch, Night Trap, Ys Origin, Oxenfree, and many more. Titles have been made available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, with the Nintendo Switch being recently introduced.
Orders for Night Trap just wrapped up its physical run on the Switch. Fairhurst announced that the title was on its way to being the best selling release yet, surpassing 10,000 units sold on the first day.
An E3 2018 press conference, hosted by Fairhurst and co-founder Douglas Bogart, unveiled some upcoming titles. Golf Story, Yooka-Laylee, Layers of Fear, and Dust: An Elysian Tale are set to hit the Nintendo Switch console with Spelunky, Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit Full Course, and more on the PlayStation 4. An emphasis for the PS Vita system was also given. It was later said that the Vita will continue to see support for the upcoming year.
