On March 31, Marcus Sellars revealed in a Tweet that Bigby Wolf from The Wolf Among Us’ Telltale Games Series will be one of the next upcoming fighters to release as DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. As it is April Fool’s Day, many of Sellars’ followers began to assume he was playing an April Fool’s joke. However, here at VGCultureHQ, we can confirm that yes, Bigby Wolf is indeed joining the roster and will be one of the latter releases on the fighter pass. It is unknown whether this will be directly after the Arms DLC character, but, this isn’t the first time  Nintendo has formed a partnership with another company to include a non-Nintendo character in Smash. Banjo Kazooie, now a Microsoft party, joined the roster despite being owned by Rare and Microsoft. This is something Sellars touted for months, that a Microsoft character was joining Smash, but, it was not taken seriously until it was announced at E3 2019.

While Sellars’ past has been dubious at best, he has been on the mark with several leaks, which lends this to be credible. Not only that, but we have corroborated it with one of our sources, making it very likely that Bigby Wolf will, in fact, be in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s second DLC pack as a playable character.
