THQ Nordic has revealed a brand new horde mode for the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. This multiplayer mode is set to support up to two players in both online and local couch co-op action. The new addition to the game features 26 different islands and 7 playable characters each with their own moves. A trailer showing off the new multiplayer functions has been uploaded as well. SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is the long-awaited remake to the 2003 Nickelodeon fan favorite. This remake includes updated graphics and gameplay, as well as content which was cut from the original. An example is the newly included Robo Squidward boss fight that had been removed due to previous limitations.
